Best laid plans and all that....
Mine is still a work in progress, having trouble getting it really moving. My original plan was to capture this really cool copper key that I have, but it is lost somewhere is the piles of things that I was rearranging and is not to be found. My second choice is this carved leaf.
I will get it finished eventually... promise

Thanks for sharing where you are Annita! This just gives you a topic for another blog post (that's what I tell myself as my piece is in-process as well).
ReplyDeleteAnd like you, I lost one of my components. Since we'd postponed the hop one day, I decided yesterdat to take my bottle outside to photograph. One of the shells that I hadn't finished capturing managed to escape into the leaves. I still haven't found it as it started pouring rain right about then. I'm hoping the weather will be good enough to mount a search today. Oh, and while I was searching for it, I managed to drop and break another shell that I'd planned to add.
What a lovely focal leaf! I can't wait to see where you go with it, because you're off to a beautiful start!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing....my project is bead soup yet.... I love the leaf and anxious to see how your piece turns out...
ReplyDeleteHi:
ReplyDeleteFinish,finish-it's getting so fine:-)
I like the leaf and other surrounding effects.
I do hope it's coming soon to admire entirely.
Warm Greetings

Beautiful colors so far. Am following your blog to see how this turns out. I have a store and know only too well how life gets in the way of best laid beading plans. Do hope you continue with this - anxious to see the finished piece.
ReplyDeleteWonderful so far! And so great for this time of year... Looking forward to seeing it finished. I can so relate to "best laid plans". Heck, I don't even have a blog yet!
