I had a little trouble with the pics of my necklace so since today was bright and sunny I took it to the front yard and took a few new pics; hope they are better -- Annita

BSBP 3rd Reveal Today!

This was my first piece from the soup that I received. I recently discovered "freeform peyote" and decided to give it a try



This is what I made with the left over beads. I didn't have quite enough to make the cuff as long as I wanted so I "improvised" I think the ribbon lace up is quite cute, but nor sure how practical it is

What I have been up to lately

This is what I did yesterday, it was a dreary, rainy day so I went for something bright and cheerful. I fell in love with these neon pink seedies

What's on the bead mat right now

Went to my local bead shop the other day and found these, they are very pretty worked up but the pic isn't able to show the variation in color very well, think it will most likely end up as a bracelet

Now time to finish my morning coffee and get back at it

Working on my Soup project!

Here is a sneak peak of my bead soup project, not sure if it will stay this way, may change my mind before it is all said and done.

Think I will spend part of the day today playing with wire to clear my mind and let me decide if I like the direction the soup project is going...

Soups here, now to begin to create!

My soup has arrived from my BSBP partner Judy and she has received the soup from me so now it is time to start to create something.

I admit she did a much better job on the presentation, everything was labeled as to what it was, I was so intent on getting everything together and mailing that it never occurred to me to label anything....

Well my partner Judy should be receiving her box of goodies on Friday, and she said mine should be arriving around the same time. Can't wait to see what she sent and hope that she is happy with the selection I sent to her.

If I could figure out how to do it I would post a teaser of the beads that I sent, but can't figure out how to blur or pixilate the pic

Making Progress

Here is how it is coming along so far ...

The valentine bracelet was giving me fits (or driving me to drink) so I put it to the side and started on something else.

This should go much better (finger's crossed)

another day at the bead mat

Well, I haven't accomplished much on the heart bracelet front. I decided I didn't like the colors of pink, not enough contrast, so I changed one of them.

After tearing out quite a bit of beadwork, I started with the new colors and somewhere along the line jumped a line in the pattern so I tore it out again.

Think I will just set this aside and start on something completely different today. Haven't decided what yet, but when I do I will let you know --- Annita

What's going on today ...

Haven't gotten very far on the bracelet, took a break yesterday and ended up asleep on the couch -- lol

I am also in the process of putting together my bead soup for the Bead Soup Blog Party, hope my partner (whomever it is) likes my selections! Annita
