Week #4 Earrings

These are my earrings for week #4 They were made with free beads that I received from Precosa. new 2 hole beads, some of them were not quite perfect, but I liked them overall

need to get motivated!

I have not really been motivated to do much of anything for the last few days, may be the windy cold weather. Need to get up off the couch and do some beading. I received my OTTBS Secret Santa gift in the mail the morning. It was delayed due to a postage issue.

Love it! Wish I knew who sent it so I could say Thank You properly!

Looks like I didn't make the cut for the Bead Soup BLOG party. Maybe next time....

a pair of earrings each week for 2012 - week #1

Joined a group on Facebook to make a pair of earrings a week for 2012.  This is my make for week #1.  I really like how they turned out and they are fun to wear.

I feel the need, the need to bead!

Today I am going to sit down and really work on something.  I have to take the car in for service this morning, but have all afternoon to be creative.  I am toying with trying to make my first ever Cellini Spiral.  I have been curious about it for a while so I guess it's time I gave it a whirl.

Well, I have finished with the beading on the bear claw, now I need o decide what to hang it from.  I was thinking maybe a braided leather cord?  Any suggestions?

New Year, New Project

While cleaning and organizing my bead space I ran across this bear claw and was struck by inspiration.  Decided to added a beaded bezel of triangle beads, not sure if it will end up on a leather cord or perhaps I will give it something else.  Any suggestions?
